Perhaps the closest and most heart-warming activity can be found in a good wooden sauna — especially if it is your own, built to your specifications. Many people turn sauna rituals into a tradition — and rightly so, given the health benefits and enjoyment they bring.

Our designers have developed an optimal project, giving it a touch of soulfulness. Starting our tour from the small but essential veranda-terrace (4.3 m² / 46 ft²), we enter the spacious anteroom — the relaxation room (7.6 m² / 82 ft²). Its area allows for both a table for 3–4 people and, if desired, some soft furniture.

Next we look into the shower room (3 m² / 32 ft²), which easily accommodates a shower cabin as well as corner benches for sauna accessories. From here there is also access to the steam room (4.4 m² / 47 ft²), large enough for three people. By the way, the layout of the steam room makes it possible to install the stove either in the partition with the shower room or in the adjoining wall with the relaxation room.

Then just a few steps remain: throw in some firewood, splash water onto the stones, and immerse yourself in an atmosphere of bliss and relaxation.
